Research conscious: Women cherish your face and body

Beauty products such as lipstick, lotion, foundation, mascara add up to 515 chemicals on a woman’s face every day, says a study.

Charlotte Smith of deodorant firm Bionsen, which conducted the research, found that girls were using up to 13 products, most containing more than 20 ingredients.

Perfume fared the worst, containing a mixture of 250 components on average while some labels chose from 400 chemicals, reports the Sun.

Lipstick was found consisting 33 elements, body lotion 32, mascara 29, and hand moisturiser, 11.

Top-selling perfume Chanel No5 listed 250 additives and the best-selling foundation, Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, had 24 ingredients, the study found.

The most popular nail varnish, Rimmel, was made from 31 components while the number for the top-selling body lotion Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Lotion stood at 32.

Experts linked some of the additives to cancer, hormone problems, skin conditions and allergies.

Smith said: “Beauty regimes have changed dramatically from a simple ”wash & go” to daily fake tan applications, regular manicures, false lashes and hair extensions.

“The new ”wonder treatments” contain more chemicals to be able to achieve better results, which means that women are more at risk.”

Tempting Perfume that You Must-Have

The first comes to ferfume-Eau Contraire. When you’re presented with Eau Mega, their latest perfume that sprays from its golden cylindrical canteen via technology that took two years to create and is personified in ads by a blonde glamazon superhero hovering over a gleaming metrolis, don't think for a second it’s going to be a vant-grade.

It won’t be a bowl-you-over affair best worn with some insane dress made of injection-molded bubble wrap embossed with obscure Kabbalistic sigils.Eau Mega is completely soft and yummy,a pear-violet sorbet of a scent. The joke is that pretty and sweet saves the world, more fierce plasticity like other perfumes. While the name of the perfume is name upon “omega”,the last ; etter of the Cyrillic alphabet, which we’re sure is more V&R plafulness, and the accessibility is often more difficult to nail than edgy, and that’s the beauty of the perfume, selling $75 for 1 fl.oz.

The second is Adult Content

We all know that Marc Jacobs likes girlie, especially when it comes to france. It’s like, his thing. It’s been releasing very straightforward body splashes for a while, and before that was the Daisy collection. The target age for his scents seemed to become younger and younger. For a second,we were a little worried he was going to market diaper cream next.

But he showed us up with gorgeous inside and out.He can’t resist the flowers and neither can we.So fuchsia peony, rose and geranium get center-stage and of course he’s got to throw in some fruit, pear this time. But then comes some pink peppercorn sass and tonka bean allure, and suddenly what could be a Lolita becomes more grown up.Selling for $85 for 3.4oz,and $65 for 1.7oz.A body collection ranging from $40 to $50 are also available.
